Can you put a dirt bike engine on an adult size big wheel?
I plan to build an adult size big wheel and want to put a dirt bike engine on it. Would this be possible?
by adult sized big wheel I mean a tricycle shaped like a big wheel with a metal frame, a rubber front tire and plastic backtires.
That would be more like a three wheeled go kart than anything else. Big Wheel's are pretty low to the ground. I assume you're not talking plastic here. Also, since on a Big Wheel the feet go on the pedals which are attached to the front wheel, I don't know where you'd put your feet and still retain the "Big Wheel" aesthetic. Now that I think about it a pedal powered bike, low to the ground, sounds a lot like a recumbent bike. I wonder if they come in three wheeled versions?
