What is the diffrence between Shimano/SRAM (M10) and Campagnolo (ED10) when describing a road bike rim?
I am looking to buy a new rear road bike rim after my last one was destroyed. However i can not for the life of me figure out what some of the general terminology describing the wheel means. What is Shimano/SRAM (M10) vs Campagnolo (ED10) describing?
M10 and ED10 are designations for hubs, not rims. Shimano and SRAM use the same hub system, M10. Campagnolo uses the ED10 hub system. Either type of hub works with the same kind of rim. You order the hub that works with the component maker of your cassette.
