What's the easiest way to lighten up my bike?
I bought an Giant OCR A1 this spring and it weighs 19.5 lbs. I replaced the seat already to a Bontrager Inform SL. Should I buy a new wheelset next(mine is 2100g)?
I ride 150-200 miles a week and have a bf% of 10. So I am pretty sure i dont need to lose anymore weight.
Wheels are the way to go. 2100 are heavy wheels. There are plenty in the 1550 to 1700 gram range for $175 and up. look at the best deal around Xero XR-1 wheels about $220 and <1600 grams. Very good quality.
I have 8.5% fat so you could stand to lose a little!
