Structure of Ceramic Brakes?
I am doing my physics homework on the use of Ceramics in brakes and I know that what is actually used are carbon ceramic brakes (most likely also using silicon), but for this homework I need to know the Atomic Structure of these Carbon Ceramic brakes and I am having real trouble finding out what it is.

Actually it is carbon fibers that they've added to the ceramic brakes to make them stronger. However, I don't think you'll be able to find any publicly available info on the atomic structure of carbon cermanic brakes, since that information is most likely patented by the manufacturers.
