What amp is good for my TWO Memphis 12" Mclass Subs??? need help matching!?
i have two memphis 12s in a GZ series hatchback dual sealed speaker box with 1 inch MDF construction. they are 600W RMS together. i listen to rap and i love a clear thumping bass and sound. i was wondering what amp at how many RMS would be a good match? preferably memphis amp unless you have a better one but i also dont know what class memphis amp i should get. please help... thanks! willing to spend around 300 dollars for the amp

I would stick to Memphis. I have always used Memphis in my car. I currently use a Mojo 12". But for your case, Memphis Power Reference amps are nice amps and are class-D (true power output) and there is a 500 and a 1000. They are both in the 250-350 rang roughly. Just maybe suggesting to get the 1,000 because you may want to upgrade your subs at some point and you just would have to turn down your gain. If you got the 500, it would be basically maxed with no ability to better your subs. The m class amps are an option too but they are usually more expensive and have a higher handling power. My overall suggestion is a Power Reference amp 1.1,000watts. I think I googled it and it came up as $330 or so, which is near your price range with room for improvement sub wise.
