Is there a one size fits all racing seat?
My dad and I are looking to put racing seats in our 240z. We will both be driving it but we are not the same size. Are there any seats for under 400$ that can accommodate both of us?
Looking at what the Indy Cars use isn't of much help to you, as what is needed for a drivers seat is different than what you would need in a 240z.
You may want to research what teams in the GrandAm Koni Challenge series do for their cars. It is a "street stock" series, meaning that the car is very similar to what you would find in a showroom. Their rules also require driver changes during the race, so they would need a product similar to what you are looking for. $400 may not be enough to cover what they use, but it might be a starting point.
