What does it mean when Indian American's say "White man speaks with fork tongue"?
Does that mean lies? Well whats good enough for white people is good enough for non white people, although I wouldn't want to be called white trash.
I think it would be cool to have a fork tongue like a snake. Sex wouldn't be the same.

A snake's tongue is forked, and the serpent in the Garden of Eden had a forked tongue. The white man in the U.S. made a lot of false promises to Indians regarding their status and land ownership. The U.S. government repeatedly broke its contracts with Indian tribes. Yet, each time the government would make a new treaty sound very promising and beguiling, and as if it were in the best interest of the tribes.
However, I worked on a tribal reservation for 7 years, and live in a county next to a reservation. I have many Cherokee friends and neighbors. I have never heard an Indian say this. Only in bad westerns.
