mtb cranskets fsa or truvativ?
what type of crankset do you recommend i get the fsa gravity or the truvati holzfeller 2.2 rg. and tell why please thank you.
I've run Stylos and Hussefelts for several years on 4 different bikes and have nothing bad to say about them. Truvativ has their own bottom bracket designs, though, so you're stuck with the GXP or Howitzer. They're both widely available, so it shouldn't be a problem finding one when you need it.
FSA Gravity is good stuff also, and they use the more standard type of external cups. I like this because you can *always* find one at a shop from several different manufacturers, and you can use the kick-butt Race Face bb's if you want to.
The chainrings are great on both brands. Truvativ does use a nifty dual-hex type so you don't need a ring spanner wrench thingy...just a 5mm and 6mm allen. I'd just let price and appearance be your deciding factor because they're both good stuff.
