can i return a gas chain saw didn't work from day one the store says i cannot return a gas motor bought new?
i bought the chain saw for weekend yard work at orchard supply after following the directions and my father having used one many times we just couldn' get to work.i returned it to orchard and they said a gas motor cannot be returned they will send for repair,is this correct?
What do you mean by it will not work? Will not run or is it another problem? If it will not run pull the choke out and pull hard over and over till it hits. Then turn the choke off and pull with full throttle. If it has a primer bulb be sure to pump 1-2-3 times per instructions and start normal way.
Remember you may have to pull many times real fast and hard at all stages of starting. If you can not get it to run take to the store and ask one of them to try and start it. If they can not get it to start let them ship and fix under warranty. Good luck!!
