Buy entry level road bike.?
I've been trying to get into cycling and I am actively seeking a road bike. Since I'm entry level I would not spend an arm and leg on a bicycle, but at the same time get a bike that does not stop me. I have done some research and found this bike one and with the following components: Shimano 105 rear derailleur Specialized Mondo Alex AT400 rims Shimano Tiagra flight deck of carbon fiber seatpost Specialized FACT carbon fork Sugino triple chainring crankset 1606L Sigma team on the first question, can you tell how the wheels of the bicycle is it? Also how are components of this bike, something that should be worried?
Shimano 105 derailleur may indicate a tape of 9 or 10 speed. Therefore, the bike provides either 27 or 30 speeds. Otherwise, this looks like a decent ride with beautiful pieces and parts. Frankly, I would not worry too much about the components. At each level price, all bikes from companies such as Specialized, Trek, Cannondale, Giant, etc will be very similar. The real difference and what should worry about is how each bike feels when traveling. My recommendation is to take an hour or more on each trip on a bike and buy the one that sits on your case. Note, I recommend an hour away. A couple of minutes for parking is not sufficient to raise the issues of fit and comfort. Hope this helps and I hope you love your new bike.
