What size BB do i need?
Hi
I bought this FSA SL-K MEGAEXO CARBON Compact Crankset. ISIS BB Compatible. 170mm, 36 x 50 and don't know what size BB is needed (not included). Would it be the same as my current BB or is specific to the crankset?
A crank is a crank.The bottom bracket needed has two or three measurements.
First of all your bottom bracket shell width is needed.This measurement is done by measuring the actual width of the bottom bracket shell of your bike.
The second thing needed is your needed bottom bracket axle length.This is determined by your crank that you have and the rear drivetrain you are using,and let's not forget your front derailleur as that needs the frame angle[geometry angles,found on the website of most manufacturers sites] and the ring sizes.
