can any idiot spoke a bmx bike rim?
i am building a bike from the bare frame for the first time
the first thing i want to buy for it is wheels and tires but it would be cheaper for me to buy the hub,rims nipples and spokes and just put the rim together myself
i have aliened my bike wheels before but never put wheel together . is this something i can do myself or would it be better to have some one else do it
i am using a web page called danscomp.com does anyone else know of any other wed page i can use to buy parts

To answer your question: Any idiot can NOT spoke a bmx bike rim.
A trained idiot can, though. If you check out directions on line and you have a bit of mechanical knowledge, you can build a wheel. You would want a truing stand, a dish gauge, and a lot of patience.
The worst thing that can happen is you try, mess it up, and have to take them to an expert to get them right.
Give it a shot.
