What can increase braking power for my bike?
I have a Mongoose Tyax Comp mountain bike with disk brakes, but the brakes are very bad. Would changing the brake pads help? This bike has Promax disk brakes (not hydraulic) though.
Disc brakes require a "burn-in" period and won't reach full potential until they are used for a while.
I assume that you got the Tyax from a bike shop. Take it back for adjustment.
