What is the difference between the wheel brakes and a center flip flop?
I just want to know if the brake pedal is different from a central failure fixed gear flip as to stop going ... pros and cons of possible
A center of flip-flop is designed so that you can ride the bike as a fixed gear, or as a single speed gear to take the wheel and flip around (freewheel through inertia, not fixed gear). Any bike with a brake pedal is by definition, a single speed. You can not use a coaster brake on a fixed gear or a multi-speed bike. Nice thing about a brake pedal is that it gives a clean (no cables, clamps, no, etc and is easy to handle. The bad news? If your chain brake (or derailed) who has just lost its ability to stop. If you go downhill ... which is a big problem. Generally, brake hubs are not of good quality food.
