Suspension fork replacement for older Fuji Titanium?
I have a 15 - 16 year old Fuji Titanium frame which had a Manitou fork. That was completely worn out, so I put a rigid fork on the bike and use it as a light weight hybrid. The bike has updated V brakes and Deore XT components. I am looking to keep this bike for light to medium off duty riding with family. All of the new forks have steering tubes that are not compatible. Anybody now of and forks to fit my frame? I believe the head tube is 1-1/4"??
I have located a product from Chris King named Devolution that can adapt old head tubes to new steerer tube diameters.
If the head tube is 1 1/4" you are going to have a hard time finding anything. The usual answer here is try ebay....you sure it isnt 1 1/8" but since you say that nothing seems compatible then you must be sure...This one is going to be tough and nearly impossible. stumped me on this one! You may just have to stay with that ridgid fork.
