What Pant Cut is Best for Hourglass Bodies?
A woman with an hourglass figure has many advantages when it comes to clothing. Stores like Lands' End and Boden offer pants that flatter the woman with an hourglass figure. The hourglass figure has always been the most desirable female figure; every woman openly or secretly desires this symmetry of stature/frame. Boot legs pants are great for this figure, especially if a woman is not very comfortable with her curves. This style is wide though the hips and legs. Straight Leg Pants
Straight leg pants are a cross between skinny pants and boot legs. They fit smoothly down the thigh and leg area and aren't too tight at the ankle like the skinny pant. They also aren't too loose like the boot leg pants. When a women has curves, straight legs hug her curves just right and help to accentuate the positive. This style of pants, however, is not very tight or very loose, so they really allow for the hourglass figure to shine through. They can be worn with just about any top--same as the boot leg--but are better for more casual occasions.
Low Rise Pants
Since the hourglass figure is perfectly proportioned, low rise pants sit perfectly on this body type. They don't look so well on women who are super thin at the bottom or who are top heavy, but if you have an hourglass figure, low rise pants serve to accentuate the positive curves on your hips. This of course is balanced out by the top of an hourglass woman's body. Many low right pants are worn with trendy tops that also look great on an hourglass figure. These pants are best worn for casual occasions and nights out.
For the hourglass figure, the choice in pants is really about the occasion as opposed to the particular style. There really is not one style of pant that doesn't look good on an hourglass figure. However, if the woman is attending an event or a function whereby she wants to play down her curves, the aforementioned pants styles can do just that.
