If the diameter of a tire valve stem is doubled, how much would the force exerted by the valve stem increase?

This is a physics problem I've been having trouble with. My initial thought is that the force exerted wouldn't change, because the amount and pressure of air in the tire is the same. If anything I would think the force would remain the same, but the pressure exerted by the valve stem would decrease because pressure = force / surface area and the larger diameter of the valve stem would increase the surface area. Am I off base here? Any help or insight would be appreciated! Thanks!

The pressure remains the same but the force changes.
Pascal's Principle states:
"Pressure is transmitted undiminished in an enclosed static fluid"
