What is the correct way to tow a rear wheel drive vehicle. From the front or rear. Does it matter?
My van is rear wheel drive. It was towed to the shop by the front. Now my transmission isn't going into gear. Did the tow do the damage?
A rear wheel car should only be towed from the front with "dollies" (wheel units) under the rear wheels. If it was towed for only a short distance it shouldn't matter but much more than a couple of miles it should have the dollies or have the driveshaft disconnected.
