My TV and VCR do not work together, help!?
I have a 20 inch TV Sylvania. I have a Sylvania VCR-DVD combo. Both have been in storage for 18 months and I can not remember exactly how to connect. I have red and white pins connected as shown in manual and I have plugged my S-cable the TV turns on and runs and turns the DVD player works, but I can not get the TV to show my dvds. I lost my TV remote control and ordered Recently another. I think I may need the TV remote to switch to viewing the DVD. Can anyone tell me differently or help me this platform for me can watch movies? Thanks for your help!
The TV should be in video mode (not in TV mode). Sometimes this works go to Ch2 Then go CH - (or down) if you are lucky enough to take you to the video input, if not, you need a remote to switch between TV and Video.
